Advanced Oil Refining
Kmg Petrochem oil Refinery, LLP has two commercial divisions: Trading and Refining. The Company operates major refineries in China and Russia with the capability of processing more than 300,000 barrels per day.
These operations manage refining activities, product supply, gas logistics, and bio & intermediate feedstock logistics. The Company also produces petrochemicals and a wide range of petroleum products through three competitive inland refineries with a combined annual refining capacity of 17.8 million tonnes.
Working together with specialists from the Kazakhstan Academy of Sciences, the Company continues upgrading its catalytic cracking catalyst technologies to improve refining efficiency and product quality.

Refinery Modernization
The Kazakhstan Institute of Catalysis develops advanced catalysts for hydro-processing technologies. By developing catalysts for hydrotreating middle distillates, researchers have produced sulfur-free products that comply with Euro-5 standards.
Kmg Petrochem oil Refinery, LLP has focused its refining operations on producing premium petroleum products while continuously improving refinery performance through modernization projects.
The refinery modernization program marked a significant milestone by enabling the production of K5 environmental class motor fuels for the Kazakhstan market in accordance with TR TS 013/2022 Technical Regulations.
The Company also produces AI-95-K5 Euro-6 and AI-100-K5 gasoline with enhanced operational and environmental performance.

Gas Supply
Customers throughout Kazakhstan are supplied with natural gas, dry stripped gas, and associated petroleum gas (APG).
Under the Gas Transportation Agreement, the Company’s gas transportation network delivers natural and lean dry gas while supporting an optimized commodity transportation system.
As part of its long-term strategy, Kmg Petrochem oil Refinery, LLP aims to become the leading independent gas supplier in the Kazakhstan domestic market by expanding its operations and improving the efficiency of gas supply contracts.
The Company is also developing a network of mono-fuel Auto Gas Filling Stations (AGFCS) for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), providing a cleaner and more economical alternative to gasoline, diesel, and LPG.
